Regardless of the medium, a performer presents his work for others to see, hoping for a good show and positive responses. But the actual performances are just part of the story. The performer assumes a variety of roles to support his work and keep the interests of fans. Actor An actor may wear many hats, both literally and figuratively. He may appear in a variety of productions, small and large, in theater, television or movies, in drama, comedy and other genres.
